Palmetto Bluff Pawsitive Rescuers hosted Cocktails for a Cause benefitting Jasper Animal Rescue Mission
Thank you Maria Cavanaugh, Liz Dagnino, Diane Fratus, Liz Grell, Sue Hussey, Donna Jacko, Terry Kix, Donna Litten, Diane McLaughlin, Missy McLaughlin, Suzannah Rogers, Rebecca Scheffer, and Sharon Versyp for planning a perfect night in support of Jasper Animal Rescue Mission. The first annual Cocktails for a Cause benefiting Jasper Animal Rescue Mission was held October 9. These wonderful ladies spent months planning and perfecting this evening. No detail was overlooked and 160 people attended. Southern Peel provided the most delicious pizza ever, River Dog Brewing was on site providing libations, Coastal Picnic and Rentals served tasty beverages, Charley Mae Dog Photography snapped wonderful pics and Soul Remedy provided the music. We are tremendously grateful for the support this group provides to the cats and dogs of Jasper Animal Rescue Mission. Thank you for the hours you volunteer at the shelter and for this amazing fundraiser. Board member Kay Wellenkotter along with a group of friends curated a wonderful evening. The fundraiser was a huge success and such a fun evening.
Board member Laura Chambers assisted during the auction. Here she models a pilot headset. This auction item was a private plane trip to Jekyl Island for lunch. The competition was fierce for this trip.
When it comes to an auction, Habersham residents don't hold back. The auction items ranged from one of a kind art to amazing trips like a sunset boat cruise, a private plane trip to Jekyl Island for lunch, a charter fishing cruise. Competition was fierce and bidders were generous.
